On average, any investment will fully repay itself in two seasons' time (friendlies and cup matches are not included)

Construction time

Exact construction time formula is believed to be:
7 days + price in $ / 100 000 (one day for each 100k $ spent) - which would translate to 1500 seats a day. But this is just an estimate.

Optimum capacity

Attendance is determined by own supporters club size, supporters mood, weather and opponent supporters club and mood. (Opponent fanclub is much less important.) Further in the cup, the higher number of spectators. League matches later in the season also attract more supporters. Recommended size of arena is 10 - 20 times your supporters club size dependant on your current results and expected future results.

It is not worth expanding your Arena until you are filling your current arena on most occasions.
