* It is impossible to play a match with team spirit being at Paradise on earth. The indicated percentage is an approximation.
** At the start of the season your team spirit is at this level.
*** You have no midfield at all.
Team spirit is affected by:
- Confidence
- Team Attitude - I.e. if you have told your team to play Match of the Season, Play It Cool or Normal (see Team Attitude in the Match section)
- The Leadership level of your coach (very important)
Team spirit will always move towards Composed. If the team spirit is below Composed, several factors affect how quickly it will rise again:
- If your Team Attitude is set to Play It Cool your team spirit will rise.
- The Leadership level of your coach is very important.
- Sports psychologists affect team spirit slightly.
A high team spirit will drop towards Composed. The factors listed above that make a low team spirit rise faster, will also make a high team spirit drop slower.
MOTS will result in your team spirit being halved after the match.
PIC will result in your team spirit rising by 1/3 after the match.
The leadership skill of your coach is very important if you wish to mainain a high level of team spirit.
I.e. a coach with Poor leadership can only keep the team spirit at ”low Content” from Sunday to Sunday if you PIC every Sunday.
If your team spirit is at "Walking on Clouds" and your coach has Solid leadership skill, the team spirit will drop to "Delirious" after 3 daily updates.
Team spirit will move towards ”Composed” throughout the week, until the next competitive match is played. The rate that team spirit changes depends on the leadership skill of your coach.
If you PIC/MOTS, the change in team spirit will occur immediately after the match.
Buying or selling players can lower the team spirit. If that happens team spirit will decrease by approximately 1/3 of a level.
When buying or selling players the probability of a drop in team spirit is influenced by the personality of the player(s).
Team spirit is reset to “Composed” during the off-season.
By lowering training level you acchieve a boost to team spirit. But lowering training level can have a dramatic effect on the form of the players in the following weeks.
Lowering training level 25-30% provides one level in team spirit.
Eg by lowering your training level from 100% to 30 your team spirit will go from Calm to Walking on clouds. A lowring from 100% to 18% can boost your team spirit form Murderous to Satisfied.
A lowering of training level has to be done before the update on the day before training takes place. So if training takes place on a Friday in your country you should lower it before the Thursday update.
When you increase training level after a lowering team spirit will reverse to the level it was on prior to the lowering. However the team spirit has naturally dropped a bit in the meantime so when the training level is set back to its starting point the team spirit will be a bit lower caused by the natural fall.
