Team spirit

- Team spirit only affects your midfield rating.
- Choosing "Play it Cool" (usually referred to as PIC) attitude will increase team spirit by 33% after the match, at the cost of lowering midfield by approx 10-15% during the match
- Choosing "Match of the Season" (usually referred to as MOTS) attitude will decrease team spirit by 50% after the match, with the benefit of increasing midfield by approx 10-15% during the match
- Team spirit will, at each daily update, slowly return to the default level, which is composed (4.5). The higher your coach's leadership skill, the slower it will it drop towards composed when above and the faster will it rise towards this value when below.
- Team spirit can also drop slightly when buying players (the lower the agreeability of the player, the greater the risk), or when selling a player (the higher the agreeability, the greater the risk). Youth player cannot affect team spirit when pulled or when sold within 6 days from being pulled.
- According to the rules, the player with highest leadership in the team also affects team spirit, based on his agreeability. The actual effects have never been ascertained. You will also hear the term "Clown" used. This is a popular player with Solid leadership which some managers claim has a positive effect on your Team spirit but this has never been determined either way.

Confidence

- Confidence affects attack ratings and possibly team spirit (according to the rules, but the effect is probably quite small)
- Confidence can be raised by psychologists (effective at the economical update and after official matches)
- Confidence also rises or drops based on the team results.
- Confidence can result in an "overconfidence" event (midfield rating drop) when playing a league match against a team 5 or more places below you in the league, the risk being proportional to confidence (strong and above).

Form

A player has 2 forms:

1 Currrent form, the form that determines his contribution during the game.
2 Background form (a value towards which the current form moves.)

During training two formthings happen:
1 Current form (the one you can see) moves towards the (always hidden) background form
2 After that, each player has 1/3 change of receiving a new background form.

When the new background form is computed the following is taken into consideration:
· How hard you train (intensity of training)
· How good your coach is
· How many assistant coaches you use (and how many goalkeeping coaches you use for keepers)
· If a player has participated in a match during the week. This is very important! (Playing twice a week is not better than playing once!)
· A random factor
