training reports

The training reports are divided into groups. From each group maximum one sentence will be reported in a training report. Players who appear a lot in the training reports generally have more potential. The order of the sentences in the training report is the same as the order of the sentences in the list below.
Data collected by LA-Arsjitekt (507250).

1. A lot of potential:

1.1 I have to tell you, player (Name) is our top talent at the moment. He could become a good player
1.2 He may not have shown it in the game this week, but (Name) could very well be our most promising player
1.3 I'm starting to realize that (Name) is a diamond in the rough! Train him well and he will be your most valuable young player.

1.5 I like (Name), he could become our top player if we help him develop his potential.
1.6 Make sure you give (Name) lots of chances, because he is a quality player.

2A. Undeveloped, can learn a lot:

2.4 In my opinion, (Name) has the potential to improve considerably, he just needs someone to give him a break.
2.5 There's a lot of raw talent in (Name). I'm sure he can improve on the team, but you can't really say yet if he is star material.
2.6 Don't give up on (Name), boss. I'm sure he has a lot of football in him.

2B. Undeveloped, wrong position:

2.7 It's quite obvious that (Name) hasn't received the right training in the past, and that he could benefit a lot from the proper attention.
2.8 Try to find the right spot on the team for (Name), there is a lot of football in that kid.
2.9 I wouldn't say (Name) is necessarily much of a player today, but in contrast to some of the other boys, he certainly has potential for improvement.

4. Train this:

4.1 I'm not saying (Name) is not benefiting from the current training, just bear in mind his real talent lies with the (skill) skill.
4.2 Feel free to let your boys try different positions, but I really think you should try giving (Name) some (skill) training, too.
4.3 In my opinion, (Name) is not going to reach his potential as a footballer unless he gets some (skill) training.
4.4 It's always OK for a player to hone multiple skills, but in the case of (Name) it's obvious that a focus on (skill) sessions would be very productive.
4.5 The current training is not the optimal one for (Name), what he really needs is to practice (skill).
4.6 (Name) has considerable talent for (skill), which he is not improving optimally with the current training regime. Think about that…

4.8 Mark my words, it would be a good thing to give (Name) some (skill) training before it's too late.

5.9 (Name) had a good week, his (skill) has really improved lately.

6. Righteous:

6.1 In this week's game, (Name) confessed a foul that the referee didn't spot. Maybe that's overdoing it, but it's still nice to see some youngsters still have moral fibre.
6.2 You never see (Name) taking a dive on the field. You've got to respect the kid for that.

7.4 I don't get (Name), he's always the first to pick a fight!

8. Infamous:

8.1 (Name) didn't show up for training on time, then he lied about the reasons. Make a note about that, coach.
8.2 Original: (Name) has many good qualities, but trustworthiness isn't one of them. He takes after his father, perhaps.
8.3 Although it has given us a few goals, you should talk to (Name) about football ethics. He falls over a lot..
8.4 (Name) is a sweet boy, but he doesn't play a fair game. It could cause some trouble down the line...

12. Birthday:

12.1 It was (Name)'s birthday this week! The boys had a party, I made sure there was no alcohol involved of course.
12.2 After one of the training sessions, we celebrated (Name)'s birthday. How quickly they grow up, eh?
12.3 (Name) had his birthday this week, and his mother came over with a really tasty birthday cake for the clubhouse. What a nice gesture.
12.4 It was the birthday of (Name) this week, but he made no fuss about it.
12.5 (Name) wanted me to ask you if he could have a senior team contract for his birthday. I'm not sure if he was being serious or whether he was trying to make me look silly.
12.6 On a sidenote, it was (Name)'s birthday this week. Time sure flies.
12.7 It was the birthday of (Name) this week, but he made no fuss about it.
12.8 (Name) had his birthday this week. Please remember that he won't be able to play youth team football after his 19th birthday.

13. Primary training - Info skill:

13.1 (Name) was involved in many situations today, showing us his (level) (skill) ability.
13.2 (Name) is probably (level) at (skill) at this moment in his development.

14.1 (Name)? He's got some (level) (skill) skills.
14.2 (Name) is (level) when it comes to (skill), I would say.
14.3 We also trained (skill) this week. I looked at (Name), who seems to be (level) at that.

15. Training in (skill) has no effect anymore:

15.1 (Name) is not going to respond to (skill) training any more.
15.2 I don't think the youth team is the right place for (Name) any more. At least when it comes to (skill), he's simply unable to improve any more.
15.3 Now I am positive that (Name) can't learn more in the youth academy when it comes to (skill).

16. Technical:

16.1 That lad (Name) seems to have a love affair with the ball, it warms my heart to see it.
16.2 Great technique in such a young boy. Yes, I am talking about (Name).
16.3 (Name) has a natural way with the ball, I'm telling you.

17. Powerful:

17.1 (Name) is a big boy, but he can be a bit slow at times.
17.2 I think (Name) is a fine specimen. He has a nice, physical style.
17.3 I wouldn't want to be caught between (Name) and a stray ball. This boy could bring down anyone.

18. Head:

18.1 We've got a natural header specialist in (Name).
18.2 I like (Name)'s ability in the air.
18.3 (Name) has a good head on his shoulders... And I'm not saying that he is particularly smart.

19. Quick:

19.1 Amazing speed in those little feet. (Name) has got great pace.
19.2 Let's hope (Name) finds a way to exploit that speed of his.
19.3 (Name) is one of the quicker players we've got - especially when the snacks are served!

20. Unpredictable:

20.1 (Name) is an atypical player - sometimes that's good, sometimes it is plain dangerous
20.2 (Name) is kind of unpredictable, it makes him stand out.
20.3 (Name)'s one of these players that can create a chance out of nothing sometimes.

21. A lot of potential:

21.1 Compared to his team mates, (Name) has an exceptional maximum potential.
21.2 Maybe you know it and maybe you don't... but (Name) is one of the best players this academy can create.
21.3 If we consider both current skill and future potential, (Name) is clearly one of the kids on the team that could have the brightest future.

22. Needs about a season training in (skill):

22.1 We've seen some progress in the (skill) capabilities of young (Name). In a season or so I think he will reach his potential in this skill.
22.2 (Name) does well practising (skill). Give him a season or so of further training in this skill, and you will see steady improvement.
22.3 (Name) seems to improve when it comes to (skill). You could probably train him in this skill with good effect for another season or so.

23. Needs about a month training in (skill):

23.1 The sky is not the limit for everyone. (Name) is getting steadily better at (skill), but I think he'll level out in that department within the next month or so.
23.2 Good news, (Name) is improving his (skill). Give him few weeks more and he'll be ready to fly.
23.3 (Name) is getting on well with the (skill) training. I'd say he'll be fully trained in it within just a few weeks.

24. Correct training + potential in (skill):

24.1 (Name) has worked diligently, he's still learning (skill) right now. Let him keep training this for a long time, he has the potential for it..
24.2 (Name) is no star yet but there is definitive potential when it comes to (skill). This boy would benefit from more of this training for the whole next season, or even longer.
24.3 (Name) has better (skill) now, but he could still improve a lot. If you let him focus on this for the next season or two, it will pay off.

25. Doesn't progress anymore:

25.1 I don't think we can teach (Name) that much more overall in the Youth Academy, boss.
25.2 (Name) seems to approach the overall limit for what we can teach him at youth level. Either give him the chance in the senior team soon, or dump him.
25.3 If you want (Name) to progress at all, he'll soon need regular team training.

26. Can still learn a bit overall, but not a lot:

26.1 About (Name) - he's still got a few things to learn overall, but you won't see any spectacular improvements there.
26.2 (Name) is a player that can still learn a few tricks, but he is already close to his overall potential.
26.3 If you like (Name) , let's keep him - he still has a few skills that can be improved in the youth team.

27. Can train an other skill for about a season:

27.1 There is certainly still some potential in (Name). Leave him to me, he could be fully trained in a season or so but you might need to change training types to achieve that.
27.2 You won't see the best of (Name) until you've given him a season or more of focused training.
27.3 Give (Name) some more time, he has the potential to improve further this season if you give him the right training sessions.

28. Can learn a lot, not very good yet:

28.1 (Name)? Might not look too impressive yet, but at least he still has a good overall capacity to learn.
28.2 Don't expect any miracles with (Name). On the whole, he can still improve, but he will need quite a lot of training.
28.3 Don't give up on (Name), he still has so much to learn.

29. Needs more than 1 season of training:

29.1 (Name) has the capacity to keep improving in the youth team - for seasons and seasons. It's your call if he is worth it...
29.2 (Name) has lots of unused potential. Even with just the right training regime, he will need seasons to realize all of it
29.3 You will have to keep (Name) in the youth team for a long, long time, if you want him to show his true potential here.

30. Needs more than 2 seasons of training:

30.1 (Name) definitely needs several more seasons in the youth squad to reach his overall potential.
30.2 (Name) has a lot of raw potential, but you need to give him a varied training for several seasons to see the results. Maybe you don't have the time in his case.
30.3 To be honest, I'm not sure (Name) will be able to reach his overall potential in the youth academy, no matter how much he trains.

31. Needs more training overall:

31.1 In the case of (Name), more training is needed before he can fulfill his overall potential.
31.2 (Name) is a player that will need lots of training before he reaches his true overall potential.
31.3 Overall, (Name) really needs more training if you want him at his maximum potential
